Hi, I’m dinocarusogalvagno. I am an illustrator, comic book artist, and Concept Art teacher. I was born in Adrano, a small town under the shadow of Mount Etna in Sicily, and I am currently based in Madrid, Spain.

My work is a visual archive where symbolism, mythology, and 80s and 90s anime aesthetics intertwine. I have a fetish for narrative details and that nostalgia for the ephemeral known in Japan as Mono no Aware (物の哀れ). My favorite things in the world are old books and abandoned places, horror cinema (and those long, intense films too), especially if it smells like petrichor outside. I love stickers, comfort food—the hotter the better—and, of course, pizza.
私の作品は、シンボリズム、神話、そして80〜90年代のアニメ美学が融合したビジュアルアーカイブです。物語を紡ぐ細部へのこだわりと、日本では「物の哀れ」として知られる、はかないものへの郷愁を大切にしています。大好きなものは、古い本、誰もいない場所、ホラー映画（長尺で強烈な映画も）。外が雨上がりの土の匂いに包まれていれば最高です。ステッカー、温かいコンフォートフード、そしてもちろんピザも欠かせません。
Between one story and the next, I lose myself in the creation of tangible objects.
